Abstract

This is the initial release of a new procurement specification which is intended to facilitate electronic procurement of aircraft parts between systems. Included are the business requirements and XML Schema for Message Receipt, Quotation Requests and Quotation Responses, Purchase Order Submittals and Purchase Order Response/Status and Parts Shipment Messages. Below are some of the features that differentiate it from the existing Spec 2000 material management specification.
